(She says with more enthusiasm than she is actually feeling.)
I woke up late this morning after a luscious dream about a succulent garden I am just dieing to make.
I saw it on pinterest and was determined to make it as close to the original as possible, until I started pricing concrete fountains (and succulents!) and realized it was going to be an expensive proposition. Then I started thinking outside the box and realized that with a little creativity and ingenuity, and since I really like things that are mis-matched, I might could shave off a couple of hundred dollars by buying pieces/parts and putting them together myself.
So, I woke up excited to head out on a scavenger hunt for the things I need.
Then reality crept in.
I have projects lined up around the block that I already HAVE the materials for, I’ve just lost interest in them.
How can I justify half a day spent searching out materials for the base, another few hours putting together the desired plants, then probably close to another day planting, when I have SOOOOOOO MANY other projects in varying stages of completion?
