Brave Girl’s Club

Welcome to Day #13 of Art Every Day Month!

I’m going to do something a little different today.

I’m going to have a give-away for Brave Girl’s Club.

By way of background, Brave Girl’s Club is the brainchild of Melody Ross and her sister Kathy Wilkins. I have mentioned them many times on these pages. Their uplifting messages have seen me through more than one rough day, and I have suggested many times checking out their blog. Attending one of their Brave Girl Camps is on my Life list of things I want to do before I die!

Melody is one of my faves in the art world. She started out in the scrapbook world and has had a lot of tragedy in her life. But she has overcome it and come out stronger than ever. Her mission now is to change the lives of women all over the world for the better, by teaching them to overcome their own issues and realize their potential.

They have classes which include art as well as soul restoration work, and they also send out daily e-mails called “A Little Bird Told Me” daily truths for you to mull over.

Now they have created a book of “Daily Truths.”

I’m so honored to have been asked to do a “give-away” for them to advertise their new book.

The long-awaited first volume of A LITTLE BIRD TOLD ME (30 days of beautiful words and beautiful art for beautiful souls).

A collection of Melody Ross’s beloved Little Bird daily truth messages, lovingly compiled into a stunningly beautiful book to keep by your bedside table or to gift to anyone you love. Each page is an original work of art that displays a message of truth to YOU from ‘a little bird’ representing the source of all sweet, healing, beautiful truth.  This collectible book will become a timeless treasure that you will return to again and again. 140 full color, heavy pages of healing, soulful art and words for Brave Girls of all ages.

Our Little Bird messages (sent as a daily free gift by email since 2009) have become an important, treasured part of each day for thousands and thousands of women from all over the world. With this edition (Volume 1) we have begun the task of creating a beautiful collection of those truths, bound together in one place to be turned to again and again. More volumes will be added regularly, making this a growing collection of life-changing goodness that will deserve a special place on your bookshelf.

To enter to win a copy of this gorgeous book, simply comment on my blog! Between now (my post for Day #13) and my post for the day of the 27th (which comes out on the 28th) each day you comment, your name will be entered to win. That means if you comment every day between now and then, you will have 15 chances to win! I will announce the winner on the 29th, so be sure to check back to see if you won!

I am seriously excited about this, and I hope you will be, too!

Gratitude Day #13 –

Is it okay to be grateful for technology? I know it can be awful at times, especially when we are dependent on it and it doesn’t work, and I can’t say I’m thrilled with the behavior that people exhibit when they feel anonymous, but by and large, it is a wonderful thing. I love blogging, reading other people’s blogs, finding information that would be hard to find otherwise, connecting with businesses all over the world, and my daily truths I find in my in-box!

    • I don’t see why not! They will be doing the mailing, but if they won’t do the mailing internationally, I’ll have them send it to me, and I’ll do it! Consider yourself entered!

  11. I’ve followed your blog for quite awhile now. I’ve noticed such a change in your postings. At first they were sad and reflected your blog name. Recently, you have been so positive and interesting to read. I’ve been taking Melody’s online class and can’t believe that such a wonderful person shares so freely of herself. I love her Little Bird daily post and like others feel they arrive when the message is most needed and appropriate. I would love to win her book :). Thank you for sharing and taking the time to write about your life.
Have a happy day – Heidi
