Today I got into the studio for the first time in the new year. It only took 5 days! Ha!
My primary reason for doing it today was to get my “word for 2012″ canvas done for my Fly Tribe’s “Word” blog hop on Monday, January 9th.
But I needed to make a little treat for Kathleen Conrad, too. She is one of the girls in my Fly Tribe, and was the most frequent commenter on my blog this year. When I made the decision to hold a drawing in honor of my 100th post, I decided she needed to be rewarded for taking the time to leave so many comments! So as long as I was in there, I decided to make a word canvas for her, as well.
Kathleen’s word is “peace” and this is what I came up with for her.
In addition to being such a wonderful supporter of mine, she is a terrific, inspiring artist on her own creative journey. You can find her at “A New Creation.”
My “new creations” (both hers and mine!) aren’t QUITE finished, but close.
I hope you’ll come back on Monday to get the links for our blog hop. I think you will be inspired by all the words and stories (and ART!) you will see. And, I’ll be unveiling my canvas!

How lovely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xoxoxox
Thank you, Renee!
